Edgar-Philipp Stoffel

Research and Doctoral Thesis

I am a former research assistant at the Institute for Informatics. Since December 2005, I have worked in the group for 'Programming and Modelling Languages' headed by Prof. Bry. During this time, I have also participated in the 6th framework EU-project REWERSE. In early June 2009, I have defended my doctoral thesis. The topic of the thesis is about hierarchical graphs as spatial model, and how they can be applied to pedestrian indoor navigation. The thesis has been supervised by Prof. Hans Juergen Ohlbach.
